NOCPIX BOLT H50R THERMAL SCOPE WITH LRF & BALLISTIC CALCULATION
NOCPIX BOLT H50R THERMAL SCOPE WITH LRF & BALLISTIC CALCULATION
The NOCPIX BOLT H50R combines a 640 × 512 thermal sensor with a 50mm F1.0 lens, Reality image enhancement and an integrated laser rangefinder with a stated range of up to 1,200m. Its ballistic calculation system, 60Hz imaging, onboard recording and dual-battery design bring key functions together in a traditional 30mm-tube thermal riflescope.
NOCPIX BOLT H50R Thermal Riflescope with LRF and Ballistic Calculation
The NOCPIX BOLT H50R Thermal Riflescope combines high-resolution thermal imaging, an integrated laser rangefinder and built-in ballistic calculation in a conventional riflescope-style design. Its 640 × 512 thermal sensor, 50mm F1.0 lens and Reality image enhancement technology are designed to deliver detailed thermal images in a range of environmental conditions.
With a 60Hz refresh rate, a dual-battery power system and onboard recording, the BOLT H50R brings together imaging, ranging and connectivity features in one robust unit. Its 30mm tube format also provides a familiar mounting arrangement for compatible rings.
640 × 512 thermal sensor with high sensitivity
The BOLT H50R features a 640 × 512 uncooled VOx thermal sensor with a 12μm pixel pitch and a specified thermal sensitivity of ≤18mK NETD. This combination helps the device display subtle temperature differences, supporting the observation of warm objects against cooler backgrounds.
The 60Hz refresh rate provides smooth image updates, while the sensor's resolution gives the H50R a higher pixel count than the BOLT L35R and P25R models.
50mm F1.0 lens and Reality image enhancement
The 50mm F1.0 objective lens is designed for longer-range thermal observation. NOCPIX specifies a detection range of up to 2,600 metres, although actual performance depends on target size, temperature contrast, weather and the surrounding environment.
The BOLT H50R uses NOCPIX Reality image enhancement to improve image detail and manage visual noise. Its Ultra Clear mode provides an additional image setting for challenging conditions.
Integrated 1,200m laser rangefinder
The built-in periscope-type laser rangefinder measures distance without requiring a separate rangefinding device. Its stated maximum measuring range is 1,200 metres, with actual performance influenced by the target's reflectivity, size, angle and atmospheric conditions.
Integrating the rangefinder into the scope helps keep the overall setup compact and provides distance information within the same system used for thermal observation.
Built-in ballistic calculation
The BOLT H50R includes a ballistic calculation function that works alongside its integrated rangefinder. Once the relevant ballistic parameters have been configured, the system can provide distance-related aiming guidance.
The accuracy of any calculated correction depends on correct setup and the information entered. Users should verify their configuration and confirm their equipment's performance in a safe, appropriate environment.
3–24x magnification and viewing comfort
The H50R offers a stated magnification range of 3–24x. Its field of view is approximately 8.8° × 7.0°, equivalent to around 15 × 12 metres at 100 metres.
A 50mm eye relief and 10mm exit pupil support comfortable viewing and help make eye alignment less restrictive. The scope also features a conventional 30mm main tube, subject to compatibility with the selected mounting rings.
Dual-battery system for extended use
The BOLT H50R uses a built-in 5,000mAh rechargeable battery alongside a replaceable 18650 battery. This dual-battery arrangement provides flexibility for longer sessions, with NOCPIX quoting up to nine hours of continuous operation in its H50R product information.
Actual battery life varies with settings, temperature, recording and connectivity use. The replaceable battery can be changed when required, helping reduce interruptions during extended use.
Recording, connectivity and rugged construction
The BOLT H50R supports photo, video and audio recording, as well as recoil-activated video recording. Its built-in memory and Wi-Fi connectivity allow supported media and device functions to be used with the NOCPIX N-LINK app.
Other practical features include seven colour palettes, adjustable image settings, customisable reticles and an integrated level platform. Silent buttons are designed to minimise unnecessary operating noise.
The housing uses a high-strength aluminium alloy construction and carries an IP67 protection rating. NOCPIX also describes testing involving 5,000 cycles of 1,000G shock. The manufacturer specifies an operating temperature range of -20°C to 55°C.
